Lu joins from Swiss Re
Aon has hired Swiss Re China president Qin Lu as chief executive of Aon Benfield greater China and Aon Risk Solutions China.
Lu will be based in Hong Kong and will report to Aon Benfield Asia Pacific chief executive Malcolm Steingold and Aon Risk Solutions Asia chief executive Sandeep Malik.
Lu will start later this year.
Steingold said: ”Our dynamic team provides Qin with a stable and talented platform from which to make further investments aimed at continuing to provide our clients with best-in-class analytics, capital advisory and reinsurance transactional support.”
Malik, Chief Executive Officer, Aon Risk Solutions Asia, commented: “From an Aon Risk Solutions perspective, Qin will be responsible for regional oversight of our China business as we continue to enhance our client capabilities in this growing market.”
