2. Where can I find my subscription number?
Your subscription number will be a code that begins with the first letter of your surname followed by a six-digit number that appears on the address label of your print copy. It can also be found on your invoice and receipt.

3. How can I change the contact details for my subscription?
We require all contact detail changes, including individual names and email address changes, to be submitted in writing. You can do this via email, fax or by post. Our contact details are as follows:

4. I am missing a copy of the magazine, how do I claim this?
Please email our Customer Services department, stating the subscription number, magazine and the cover date of the issue you are missing and we will investigate.


5. How can I order a back issue?
All articles are available on our online archive. If you wish to purchase a past issue of the magazine, please email our Customer Services team or phone 0845 313 7557 (UK) or +44 208 8606 7506 (outside the UK).

6. What is the usual reply time to an email regarding an online information query?
Your online information query is dealt with straightaway and you should receive a response within 24 hours.

7. How do I unsubscribe from my email alerts?
To unsubscribe from your email alerts, you will need to log into your account, you can do this by clicking on the Email Alert link on the top navigation bar of the website or by clicking on the manage your email newsletter preferences link on an email alert you have received from the website. Once you have accessed your account, ensure all boxes are un-ticked within the email alert options, and click on submit to save your changes.

8. What are the usual business hours of the customer service department?
The usual business hours of this service are 8.30am to 5.30pm GMT+1.

10. As a print subscriber, how do I activate my online account and gain access to the subscriber-only areas of the site?

A print subscription to Global Reinsurance gives the subscriber full access to the subscriber-only content online. To register for this service follow the instructions below:

  • Please have your unique reader code ready, which you can find on the letter or email correspondence you have been sent. Your unique reader code should be 7 characters long (eg. abcdefg)
  • If you do not know your unique reader number please call our Customer Services team on 0845 313 7557 (UK) or +44 208 8606 7506 (outside the UK)
  • When you have your unique reader code please click here to go to www.globalreinsurance.com/signup
  • Enter in your unique reader code and click “continue”
  • You will be taken to your account details, and your password will be displayed in asterisks
  • Delete this existing password, and replace with a new password of your choice
  • After you have changed your password, click “confirm” and you will now have full access to www.globalreinsurance.com.


11. My company uses an aggregator and/or a cuttings agency so why is an online subscription
of any value to me?

We do not supply content to aggregators. The bulk of our content online is exclusive to our online service i.e. does not appear in print. This means that you receive the most accurate and latest breaking news stories as soon as they are written by our team of in-house journalists. 13. How can I pay for my subscription?
You can pay for your subscription online by credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) or by requesting an invoice be sent to your company. Alternatively you can send a cheque by post to our Customer Services team at the address below. Please make cheques payable to “Newsquest Specialist Media” and include your order form. Your invoice will state payment options, including details of cheque and bank transfers. Online access will only be granted upon receipt of payment, so for immediate access, please pay by credit card.

14. What will appear on my credit card statement for my subscription?
If payment is taken online your statement will have the reference – “Newsquest Specialist Media Ltd”
For payments made to an Agency please contact the Agency directly.

15. Why don’t I see the story once I’ve paid for my subscription?
You get immediate access to the story once your online payment has been processed. If you’re experiencing any problems, please contact Customer Services or call 0845 313 7557 (UK) or +44 208 8606 7506 (outside the UK).
16. When will my subscription start and finish?
This information can be found on your receipt. Alternatively please contact Customer Services.

17. How do I confirm my expiry date?
This can be found on your receipt, which will state the period of your subscription. You will have received a written receipt by post after your payment has been processed. Alternatively, please contact Customer Services quoting your subscription number and the full name of the subscriber and we will be able to confirm this.

18. Will I be reminded before my subscription expires?
You will be reminded by emails and by post when your account is due for renewal to ensure there is no lapse in service.

19. How long does it take to set up a multi-user licence?
It can take us up to 48 hours to set up a multi-user licence.

20. What do I do if I’ve forgotten my password or username?
Your username will be the name you signed up with. If you have forgotten your password, use the Forgot Password? hyperlink, enter your email address you registered with and your password will be sent to your registered email account.

If you have forgotten the email address you registered with, please contact Customer Services, quoting your unique reader code and the full name of the subscriber. For your security the login detail details can only be sent to the registered email address.

21. Can I change my password?
Yes, once you have logged on you can change your password at any time.

22. If I still cannot access the site or I am receiving an error message what should I do?
Please email our Customer Services team with details of the exact error message you are receiving and at what stage you are experiencing these difficulties and we will look into this for you and contact you as soon as possible. 23. Is your online payment facility secure?
Our credit card payments are processed online using Datacash, who use state-of-the-art security tools and techniques to ensure that your online payment is completely secure. When you enter your credit or debit card details, a secure link is set up between your browser and Datacash. If you would like more information, please visit www.datacash.com.
24. Will my credit card information be stored by Newsquest Specialist Media?
We store credit card details in an encrypted form captured through our website. We do this so we have the ability to trace any bank queries when credit cards numbers are our only point of reference. Credit Cards are processed online through Datacash.

Cancellations and Refunds

25. How do I cancel my subscription?
We require all cancellations to be submitted in writing. This can be via email, fax or by post. Please email our Customer Services team stating the unique reader code, name and address of the subscriber. It would help us improve the quality of the product if you could tell us why you are cancelling – please feel free to share. Any remaining monies on the subscription will be refunded back to the payee.
