Steve Aurora will be the new head of global casualty
Swiss Re has just announced Steve Aurora will be the new global head of casualty.
Effective from 1 July Aurora, who is currently head of Japan, will also be joining the reinsurance executive committee.
The appointment follows the announcement of Jayne Plunkett as the new Asia regional president and reinsurancechief executive .
Aurora, who has been with Swiss Re for 17 years and has worked in finance, risk management, underwriting, sales and general management, will be replaced by Atsuhiro Dodo in Japan.
