Board of directors meet to agree the measure
American International Group (AIG) has announced that its board of directors has determined that it will suspend the declaration of dividends on AIG’s common stock.
AIG's common stock is listed on the New York Stock Exchange, as well as the stock exchanges in Ireland and Tokyo.
The move was declared in an official statement issued by AIG on Monday, 23 September.
