Brit has announces that Richard Gaunt has joined the contingency underwriting team.
Richard joins Brit Insurance after a decade at Markel International, where he was contingency underwriter. In his time there, he established himself as a leading underwriter in weather photoshoot and statistical prize indemnity and developed an account worth $7.5m in premium income.
Mike Sibthorpe, Brit Insurance's London Market underwriting director, commented: “Richard has a wealth of experience in the contingency market and we are pleased to welcome him to Brit Insurance.
