The firm has also named a successor

Brit has announced that Christiern Dart will be stepping down from his role as group chief underwriting officer.

In a statement released today (31 October 2023), the insurer said that Dart, who joined the firm in 2006, had made the move after deciding to take his career “in a different direction”.

“We thank Christiern for his commitment and dedication to Brit and wish him all the best for the future,” the firm added.

In the announcement, Brit also revealed that Jon Sullivan would succeed Dart.

Sullivan is currently the deputy group chief underwriting officer and active underwriter for Syndicate 2987.

“During a period of transition, Christiern will complete a regulatory handover,” Brit said.
