Company acquires Ottowa-based group employee benefits firm
Arthur J. Gallagher & Co has bought Canadian employee benefits insurance broker Dickinson & Associates.
Dickinson is based in Ottawa, and offers group employee benefits products and consulting services to business and individual clients throughout Canada.
Dickinson president David Dickinson and his team will be accountable to Gallagher’s Canadian employee benefit brokerage and consulting leader William Ziebell.
Gallagher president and chief executive J. Patrick Gallagher said: “Dickinson is a good example of our merger partner of choice. Not only does it have a sales culture that matches ours, it is also well known for its benefits expertise and its ability to anticipate and provide benefit solutions for its clients’ evolving business needs.”
Gallagher would not reveal the terms of the deal.
