Andrew Godden joins from sister firm SBA
Andrew Godden has joined Arthur J. Gallagher Australasia from sister company Specialised Broking Associates (SBA) in Perth.
Gooden became a founding shareholder in SBA in 2003 and managing director in September 2008.
“We have worked closely with Andrew since joining forces with SBA in 2008, where Arthur J. Gallagher took on a 40 per cent interest in the company to become a major partner.” said John Hastings-Bass, chairman of International Development.
“Over these past two years he has proven to us that he has a great capacity to manage a brokerage operation as well as delivering on projected outcomes. Andrew is also client-focused and goal-oriented, which we felt made him a strong cultural fit for Gallagher in leading our already highly motivated and committed Australian team.
"Additionally, having won significant business across the region and reporting our best results since entering the Australian market, Andrew’s appointment coincides well with our strong and continued focus on growth.”
Gooden has also held roles with major international insurance brokers and insurers in NSW, the UK and WA.
