Glencairn Limited has appointed Mark Palmer and Gary Tyler to the Specialist Risk Division with immediate effect.
Mr Palmer is an Associate Partner within the Glencairn Specialist Risk Division and will be involved in production and placement of Political Risk and Trade Credit transactions. He joins Glencairn from HSBC Insurance Brokers where he spent 2 years as a producing broker within the Political Risks Insurance Division. Prior to this Mr Palmer spent 5 years in the Trade Credit and Political Risks insurance underwriting market with AIG and XL where he was instrumental in developing a credit insurance product specifically for financial institutions.
Mr Tyler will be working alongside the recently appointed Darren Norris to further strengthen the Marine Cargo initiative. Mr Tyler comes to Glencairn from Aon and was previously with Alexander Forbes, he has over 19 years experience in the industry.
