Heritage Underwriting Agency, the managing agency of syndicates 1200 and 3245, has terminated discussions with potential offerors to acquire the company. Heritage had formed an independent committee of its board to lead the discussions.
The committee did not consider that any of the proposals received reflected the value of the business to all its shareholders. The share transfer market, managed by Credit Agricole will reopen on 25 July 2005.
