Led by Jonny Rowling, who joins from rival broker Marsh, new specialty broking unit expands wholesale platform as broker builds out sector expertise
Acrisure London Wholesale (ALW) has launched a new aviation division, appointing Jonny Rowling as senior vice president and head of aviation as it expands its specialty capabilities.
The move follows the recent launch of its construction division and forms part of a broader build-out of its London wholesale platform.
Rowling (pictured) joined on 16 March and reports to Tom Quy, managing director of Acrisure London Wholesale.
In the role, he will be responsible for building and scaling the aviation practice, driving growth across key markets and enhancing client offering.
He joins from Marsh, where he served as co-head of general aviation and placement leader, and previously spent seven years at Lockton.
Rowling said the opportunity comes at a key stage in the platform’s development.

The new division will work closely with Acrisure Aerospace, which provides access to aviation solutions across US, London and international markets.
