An Allianz reshuffle sees the previous AGCS CFO appointed to Allianz Group as chief actuary.

Allianz Global Corporate Specialty (AGCS) has appointed Oskar Buchauer as its new chief financial officer (CFO) and to a seat on its board of management.

Effective September 1 2023, Buchauer (pictured) replaces current AGCS CFO Claire-Marie Coste-Lepoutre.

She moves to Allianz Group on the same date to as head of Allianz group actuarial, planning and controlling and group chief actuary.

The double appointment, subject to regulatory approval, is actually a role-swap, as Buchauer previously held the same chief actuary position at group level.

Group Allianz CFO Giulio Terzariol said: “Having worked closely with Claire-Marie for a number of years, I am now delighted to welcome her back to Allianz Group centre where her combination of international experience and technical knowhow will be a great asset. Oskar has done an outstanding job in his current role, and I wish him continued success as CFO of AGCS.”
