Appointment strengthens AHJ Miller’s regional facultative reinsurance buildout after AHJ acquisition
AHJ Miller has appointed Andreas Ehrencrona as head of facultative reinsurance for the Nordic region.

He joins the re/insurance broker from Guy Carpenter, where he was senior vice president and head of facultative for the Nordic and Baltic markets.
Ehrencrona (pictured) spent more than a decade at Guy Carpenter, having joined in 2015 as a reinsurance broker after three years with Aon Sweden.
He began his career as an underwriting assistant at Sirius International.
Ehrencrona will lead AHJ Miller’s facultative proposition for Nordic clients, working across new and existing accounts.
He will be based in Stockholm, reporting to Pierre Guntzberger, Miller’s global head of facultative reinsurance, and Ove Fauske, managing director of AHJ Europe AS.
He will also work closely with AHJ Miller teams in Stockholm, Oslo and London, the broker said.
The appointment follows Miller’s acquisition of AHJ in June and forms part of its wider reinsurance expansion, adding a dedicated regional facultative specialism to sit alongside its Nordic treaty capabilities.
He joins the business as of 8 December.
Guntzberger said the firm was “delighted to welcome Andreas onboard as we continue to accelerate our reinsurance strategy”.
“With his deep understanding of the Nordic fac landscape and extensive network of local market relationships, Andreas is perfectly positioned to lead this dedicated offering for new and existing clients in the region,” he said.
Ehrencrona said: “It’s a pleasure to be joining AHJ Miller at this exciting time of growth for its reinsurance platform.
“In today’s quickly evolving risk climate, the demand for trusted, client-first broker relationships backed by specialty capabilities is stronger and more important than ever.
“I’m looking forward to working closely with our local and international teams to bring Miller’s leading fac proposition to the Nordic market,” he added.
