Srivastava (pictured) is based in London and reports to George Attard, Aon’s global head of strategy for reinsurance.

He has held several senior leadership roles at Aon, including serving on the Global ReSpecialty executive management committee, and has been central to the firm’s growth and broking strategies initiatives.

In his new position, Srivastava will continue to collaborate with reinsurers to deliver scalable, future-ready products, the broker said.

He will work to align the risk appetite of Aon’s trading partners with the evolving needs of re/insurer clients, aiming to secure optimal placement outcomes and access to differentiated capacity.

The role also involves using global insights and advanced data and analytics to support the development of capital solutions.

These are designed to provide the capacity required for clients’ profitable growth strategies and “shape better business decisions”.

Attard said the appointment reflected the importance of strengthening strategic reinsurer relationships.

“As we navigate an evolving reinsurance landscape, our clients are increasingly focused on sustainable reinsurer relationships, choosing strategic partners rather than simply capacity providers,” he said.

“We are delighted to welcome Anshuman into his new role where he will play a pivotal role in aligning reinsurers and broader capital providers with the diverse and changing needs of existing and new clients.”
