Jane Kielty has more than 20 years’ experience in risk and insurance, spanning the broker’s commercial risk and retail capabilities.
Aon has announced Jane Kielty as its new UK chief executive, an Aon veteran who has been with the broker since 2005.
Kielty was appointed Aon’s head of commercial risk UK in 2022, after taking on the chief commercial officer role in 2021.
She joins its Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) leadership team and reporting to Julie Page, CEO of EMEA.
“Jane’s track record of strong leadership over many years at Aon, makes her ideally positioned to lead the UK as we go further, faster on accelerating our Aon United strategy,” said Page.
Aon said Kielty’s strong leadership experience at Aon makes her well-positioned to spearhead its UK growth plans.
She has served as deputy chair of the British Insurance Brokers’ Association.
Since last year she has served as chair of the Insurance Broking Standards Committee.
Page added: “We are in a great place to further unlock the collective potential of our capabilities to create value for our clients and I have no doubt that in this role, Jane will help our UK business continue to thrive.”
