In a trio of appointments, Vanessa Hardy Pickering has been appointed chief financial officer and Lester Pun promoted to chief operating officer.
Arch Reinsurance Group has announced it has promoted three senior executives, led by Jerome Halgan as president and chief underwriting officer (CUO).
Halgan keeps his position as CEO of Arch Reinsurance as well as, in the CUO role, managing its underwriting strategy and operations across the firm.
The reinsurer also announced that Vanessa Hardy Pickering has been appointed chief financial officer (CFO) and Lester Pun appointed as chief operating officer (COO).
Hardy Pickering, who joined from rival Bermudan reinsurer Hamilton h in 2021 and most recently served as CFO of Arch Re, will work closely with other reinsurance CFOs across the company in her new role.
Pun who previously Arch Re’s chief actuary, in his new COO role will drive execution of transformation projects across the reinsurer, including the firm’s data strategy.
