O’Hara joined Ascot in 2019 as senior vice president, cyber and professional liability
Ascot has appointed Tracy O’Hara as deputy chief underwriting officer (CUO) for its US financial and professional lines business.
In the newly created role, she will report to Jesse Paulson, Ascot US CUO, and will support underwriting strategy, governance and risk selection across financial lines.
O’Hara (pictured) joined Ascot in 2019 as senior vice president, cyber and professional liability.
She was instrumental in developing Ascot’s US cyber, E&O and media products under the AscotPRO banner.
Her previous roles include VP and E&O underwriting manager at Axis, and a 16-year tenure at Chubb where she held increasingly senior roles in professional and management liability.
Paulson said: “Tracy has been a trusted leader on our AscotPRO Cyber and Professional Liability team since its inception in the US nearly six years ago.
“She brings to the role both a deep technical understanding of Ascot’s product suite as well as vast experience and specialised expertise across the landscape of professional liability, management liability and cyber.”
He added: “We are thrilled to welcome Tracy to the CUO office as we continue our unwavering focus on underwriting excellence, strategy and innovation across all segments within Ascot U.S.”
