New Dubai platform for the re/insurance broker supports group strategy across MENA and Turkey
BMS Group has launched a new presence in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) after securing regulatory approval, with the new entity effective immediately.

The re/insurance broker’s move adds a further building block to the group’s regional strategy spanning Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa.
Ranji Sinha (pictured) has been appointed as senior executive officer of BMS (DIFC) Ltd.
He will be responsible for business generated across MENA and Turkey, as well as all territories and classes underwritten through the DIFC.
Lavanya Mamidanna continues as managing director of BMS Masaood, overseeing all direct business in the UAE.
Both will report to Vedanta Baruah, CEO of BMS Middle East and North Africa, who in turn reports to the group in London.
Baruah said the launch reinforced BMS’s long-term commitment to the region.
He said: “We are now fully equipped to serve our clients in both direct and reinsurance arenas and to draw on the highly professional technical skills located across BMS Group’s global offices.”
