New Lloyd’s Asia coverholder will initially focus on facultative accident and health reinsurance for insurers across the region

Dubai-based specialty managing general agent (MGA) elseco Group has opened a Singapore office as it expands its specialty reinsurance business into Asia.
The new operation, elseco Asia, is led by Lisa Leow, head of Accident and Health, Asia, and will initially offer facultative accident and health reinsurance through intermediaries.
The business will target insurers across Asia, with cover including personal accident, emergency medical and repatriation, travel, income protection and occupational risks.
Accident and health is already part of elseco’s wider specialty underwriting portfolio.
The Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) based MGA said the new Singapore office will bring that capability closer to insurers and brokers across the region.
Operating within the Lloyd’s Asia Scheme in Singapore, elseco Asia Pte Ltd is an approved Lloyd’s Asia coverholder.
Laurent Lemaire, chairman and CEO of elseco Group, said: “Asia is the next step for elseco. Lisa brings specialist accident and health reinsurance closer to the insurers and brokers who need it.
“Singapore is where it starts,” he added.
Leow said: “With elseco’s growing reputation in Asia, I’m delighted to be part of the group and looking forward to bringing new opportunities to the business as we embark on our Accident & Health market footprint in the region through reinsurance solutions and partnerships.”
Leow will represent the business at the Singapore International Reinsurance Conference (SIRC).
The event run from 1 to 5 November 2026.
