Former Arch executive to support operational integration amid expansion, including its Pine Walk MGA platform.
The Fidelis Partnership has appointed Suzanne Wells as group chief operating officer (COO), as the Bermuda-based firm continues to grow its global footprint.
Wells joins from Arch Insurance International, where she most recently served as deputy COO and head of strategic transformation portfolio management.
Based in London, she brings experience in overseeing operational transformation and joins at a time of expansion across Fidelis’ underwriting portfolio, geographic reach, and its Pine Walk MGA platform.
In her new role, Wells will focus on aligning the group’s systems, processes, data and reporting infrastructure, with the aim of enabling faster, more informed decision-making for clients and partners.
Richard Brindle, chairman and CEO at The Fidelis Partnership, said: “We are delighted to welcome Suzanne to the team as our COO. Suzanne’s wealth of experience in driving transformational change will enable us to support our growth strategy with the right technology and operational capabilities, helping us work even smarter and faster when delivering excellence to our clients and brokers.”
Wells said she was looking forward to helping Fidelis maintain its market position through stronger operational capabilities.
“I’m hugely excited to have joined a business as dynamic as TFP,” she said.
“Operational excellence is an important part of the team’s reputation for true market leadership, and I look forward to playing my part in helping ensure TFP has the right technology and infrastructure in place to empower our underwriters to maintain this position.”
