Appointment joining from Aon reinforces focus on modelling analytics and emerging risk assessment
MS Amlin has appointed Andrew Fish as head of exposure management as it continues to strengthen its advanced risk capabilities.

Fish will lead a team of 35 and will be responsible for enhancing the insurer’s risk management and pricing strategies through modelling and analytics.
His remit includes assessing the impact of emerging risks such as climate change, cyber threats and geopolitical volatility.
The appointment follows MS Amlin’s 2024 partnership with Moody’s RMS, aimed at strengthening catastrophe modelling and analytics capabilities.
Fish joins from Aon, where he spent four years as head of global reinsurance specialty catastrophe management, supporting clients across property specialty and specialty lines.
He previously served as head of catastrophe pricing and analytics at QIC Global Services until 2021, overseeing catastrophe pricing across multiple QIC entities.
His earlier career included roles at Aon focused on the origination and structuring of insurance linked securities transactions, including catastrophe bonds and sidecars.
Martin Burke, chief underwriting officer at MS Amlin, said the hire reflects the importance of exposure management amid changing global risks.
“We’re delighted to welcome Andrew to MS Amlin as Head of Exposure Management,” Burke said.
“His deep expertise and market experience will be invaluable as we continue helping our clients manage complex and evolving catastrophe risks,” he said.
“With the world facing increasingly dynamic challenges, from climate to cyber, his leadership will elevate our ability to combine analytics with insight and build long-term client relationships,” Burke added.
