Olly Litterick joins from Occam Underwriting Limited where he was director – head of Low Carbon Energy
Renewable specialist GCube Underwriting (GCube), a member of the Tokio Marine HCC group of companies, has recruited Olly Litterick as head of London Market Underwriting.
Joining the company from Occam Underwriting Limited, Litterick will lead GCube’s London Market Underwriting division as part of the company’s global expansion.
The company has also promoted Josh Shimali to head of Onshore Underwriting, taking on responsibility for planning and delivering on the company’s overall underwriting strategy through new and existing business.
Fraser McLachlan, CEO, GCube, said: “Our two latest appointments will contribute to defining and building upon our strong underwriting strategy and help generate and sustain our profitable business model in current and future markets.”
Shimali added: “The renewable energy insurance market is witnessing immense growth, with new entrants pouring in, vying for extra capacity and market share.

Litterick was previously divisional director at RKH Speciality, Renewable Energy Underwriter at Chaucer Syndicates, and most recently as director – head of Low Carbon Energy at Occam Underwriting Limited.
