Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) has appointed Winsee Cheung as divisional director for its delegated authority practice in the UK and MENA region, strengthening its underwriting leadership team.

Cheung (pictured) takes up the role on 7 April 2026 and will lead the division as part of LSM’s broader push to align underwriting with delivery across its integrated business unit model.

She joins from Marsh with 25 years of industry experience, including senior leadership roles across broad portfolio solutions.

In her new position, Cheung will report to Henry Nelson, chief underwriting officer for UK and MENA.

She will be responsible for overseeing underwriting integrity, profitability and cycle management across the division.

Nelson said the appointment supports Liberty’s evolving operating model.

“We are delighted to welcome Winsee to the team,” he said.

“Her appointment will continue to support the roll-out of our integrated business unit model, which brings together underwriting with all aspects of delivery and encourages them to contribute proactively to business success,” Nelson added.
