Moser (pictured) has been with the reinsurer since 2004 and most recently held a senior role within its Financial Risks division, where he contributed to the development of new digital business models.

He previously served as head of trade credit and surety reinsurance for Spain, Portugal and Latin America.

He is also a former local CEO of Munich Re Italy and previously led its non-life reinsurance business for Latin America.

Moser is also co-founder of Mundi Lab, an insurtech acceleration programme developed in partnership with Mundi Ventures to support the commercialisation of innovative insurance solutions.

The reinsurer said he will now lead a global team focused on expanding the franchise’s capabilities across credit, surety and political risk reinsurance.

“In his new role, Andreas will lead a strong global team, building on the franchise’s proven track record and continuing to deliver value to clients and partners worldwide,” the firm added.
