Broker’s new head of Asia property was most recently part of the leadership team at Direct Asia in Thailand.

Price Forbes has appointed Suvimol Sathanart as head of property, Asia, as the broker targets regional growth from its Singapore base.

Sathanart brings over 20 years of experience in the insurance and reinsurance market, with a career spanning the US, Singapore and Thailand.

She reports to chief broking officer Julian Coates and will be responsible for expanding the firm’s property proposition across Asia-Pacific.

She was most recently part of the leadership team at Direct Asia (Thailand), overseeing underwriting and quality assurance.

Her prior roles include senior positions at Marsh, Guy Carpenter, and Asian Reinsurance Corporation, working across multiple lines including property, engineering, casualty, motor and marine & energy.
