Colin Sprott has joined AIG as global head of marine, according to Gordon Browne, global head of specialty
AIG has appointed Colin Sprott as global head of marine.
The appointment was announced by Gordon Browne, global head of specialty at AIG, who said Sprott had joined the insurer today.
Browne said the appointment reflected AIG’s ambition to strengthen its position in the marine insurance market.
He said: “Colin’s appointment is an important one for our business and reflects our continued ambition to advance AIG’s leadership in the Marine insurance market.
“His extensive experience, strong leadership and deep sector expertise will be invaluable as we continue to support our clients, enhance our capabilities and build for the future.
“Welcome to the team, Colin. I look forward to working with you as we continue to grow and strengthen our Marine portfolio globally,” Browne added.
