Reinsurance broker BMS has hired three senior people to boost its US analytics 

BMS has announced three hires to build out its Philadelphia-based US reinsurance analytics team.

Nick Dranchak has joined the privately-owned re/insurance broker’s BMS Re US arm as its executive vice president of capital management, effective immediately.

Dranchak spent over five years as head of strategic advisory at JLT Re before joining BMS.

Reporting to Kirk Conrad, chief analytics officer, Dranchak will lead the team’s ratings agency advisory services.

Michelle McClane has joined as vice president, catastrophe analytics of BMS Re US, reporting to Julie Serakos, executive vice president. Her most recent role was assistant vice president at Guy Carpenter.

Paul Blain has also joined as vice president, actuary of BMS Re US, reporting to Kurt Johnson, executive vice president.

Prior to BMS Paul held actuarial roles at Guy Carpenter and the Medical Mutual Liability Insurance Society of Maryland.
