Based in Miami, Chang (pictured) will work across Willis’ network to support development of the D&F business in North America, Europe, London, Asia-Pacific and other international markets.

He will report to Garret Gaughan, global head of Direct and Facultative.

Chang joins from Aon, where he was most recently head of alternative distribution.

He brings experience across retail, wholesale and reinsurance markets, including complex international placements and cross-border risk solutions.

In his new role, Chang will lead business development and provide strategic guidance to clients and prospects.

His remit will include helping clients develop go-to-market strategies and balance risk transfer, retention and mitigation, while strengthening relationships with insurance markets.

Gaughan said: “Andy’s specialist expertise and leadership in managing complex risk portfolios make him an outstanding addition to our team.

“His deep industry knowledge, strong relationships and global perspective will enhance our ability to deliver exceptional solutions for large and complex clients, while supporting the continued growth of our D&F business.”

Chang said: “I’m delighted to join Willis and work with colleagues across its global footprint.

“I look forward to bringing my experience across insurance and reinsurance to help clients navigate complex risks, strengthen connections with markets and develop solutions that support their strategic objectives,” he added.
