Naganuma moves up from head of group coordination role


Kiln has hired Satoshi Naganuma as active underwriter of Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicate 1880.

Naganuma was previously head of group coordination for Kiln and its parent company, Tokio Marine.

Syndicate 1880, Kiln’s only wholly aligned syndicate, is backed by Tokio Marine and writes large commercial property and engineering business, among others.

Tokio Marine Kiln chief executive Charles Franks said: “Satoshi has been closely involved in the strategic discussions and development of Syndicate 1880 since he joined Kiln and I am delighted that he has undertaken this important role within the group.

“He has a clear understanding of Kiln, the syndicate and Tokio Marine, and he brings a wealth of expertise and insight to the role, which will be of huge benefit to us.”

Naganuma said: “I am thrilled to be undertaking this role and I look forward to the opportunities and challenges it presents.
