Liberty Syndicates, the managing agent at Lloyd's, has strengthening its reinsurance underwriting team with the appointment of James Slaughter as deputy underwriter special reinsurance projects.
Slaughter joins the managing agency's Syndicate 4472 from Berkshire Hathaway Syndicate 1861 at Lloyd's of London, where he has spent the past six years. He will provide underwriting support to Andrew Elliott, the Syndicate's managing underwriter, who is responsible for business opportunities, reinsurance and insurance risk management.
