Warner and Pecover take up new roles
Mitsui Sumitomo at Lloyd’s has hired two more underwriters, as its syndicate 3210 looks to diversify its products and distribution.
Joe Warner has joined Mitsui’s professional indemnity team as a senior underwriter. He previously worked as a senior development underwriter at Hiscox.
In his new role, Warner will focus on UK and international expansion.
Mitsui has also hired Nexus Financial Products managing director Andrew Pecover to lead syndicate 3210’s directors’ and officers’ business.
Although Syndicate 3210 writes some financial lines business via Nexus, it is now rolling out a broader product and distribution strategy.
