The Covid-19 pandemic has changed the risk landscape of terrorism.

This was the message of Paddy MGuinness, Pool Re member advisory committee and former UK security and resilience advisor during a webinar session at IFTRIP’s Livestream 2020, earlier this week.

McGuiness said: “One of the great characteristics of groups especially those with freedom to operate in ungoverned space is that they are persistent. They are persistent in trying to map the largest scale highest impact attacks given our suppressive effects.”
