Cripps takes on newly created role while continuing to lead the broker’s global parametric business during a transitional period
Augment Risk has appointed Kurt Cripps as group head of growth and broking, effective immediately.
In the newly created role, Cripps will support the reinsurance and capital solutions broker’s commercial strategy by originating and delivering growth opportunities across the business.
He will work alongside Augment Risk’s broking leads on strategic client opportunities, complex placements and market strategy.
Cripps (pictured) will continue to serve as head of global parametric during a transitional period, supported by the firm’s teams in Miami and London.
He joined Augment Risk in October 2023 to build its parametric proposition.
Prior to joining the broker, Cripps spent 13 years at Aon, where his most recent roles included managing director for innovation and solutions and global head of weather.
