The second installment of Dubai World Insurance Congress (DWIC) has launched today.

The event, held over the next two days, will see global and regional leaders offer insights on the future of the industry.

Builing on last year’s innovation and insurtech theme, experts and thought leaders from the world of insurance and reinsurance will come together to tackle the themes of the the days - ’emerging markets, emerging technologies, emerging customers’ on day one, and ’emerging risk and opportunity in a digital world’ on day two.

Held at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Dubai, this event has attracted over 500 delegates representing a variety of global regions and territories.

On the roster for day one are keynotes from Aon Benfield chief executive Eric Andersen, and Lloyd’s chief commercial officer Vincent Vandendael, among others.

Coverage from the event will be posted here on Global Reinsurance, and on Twitter with the hashtag #DWIC18.

This event is organised and co-hosted by Global Reinsurance and Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC), with the official association partner DIFC Insurance Association.
