Arrow said the practice will write business globally, using London Market expertise and international trading relationships to support SME, mid-market and larger corporate clients with complex supply chain exposures across multiple territories.

His career spans the London market, North America, Europe and Southern Africa, including senior underwriting and leadership roles with Hollard Marine, Marsh, Tokio Marine Kiln, Zurich Financial Services and Aviva Global Corporate and Specialty.

Business will be written through the Arrow MGA platform, the Arrow Hub, supported by its operational infrastructure, underwriting support and carrier data capabilities.

Mark Harrington, chief underwriting officer at Arrow Risk, said: “Wayne brings exceptional marine underwriting expertise, international market experience and strong broker relationships to Arrow.

“His technical capability and leadership experience make him ideally positioned to build a disciplined and sustainable marine portfolio on the Arrow platform.”

Krause added: “I am delighted to be launching the Marine Insurance Practice on the Arrow platform.

“We see strong opportunities across the marine cargo and logistics market, particularly where clients require specialist underwriting expertise, tailored solutions and responsive service across international trading environments.”
