Global insurance culture festival to conclude after 12 years as industry debates balancing AI adoption with human skills and trust

Dive In Festival will hold its final edition in September 2026, bringing the insurance industry together to examine how human skills and workplace culture evolve alongside accelerating adoption of artificial intelligence (AI).
The annual festival, focused on culture, inclusion and talent across insurance, will take place from 22-24 September under the theme “The Human gAIn: Powering Culture & Connection”.
Organisers said the event would serve both as a celebration of more than a decade of progress and a final opportunity to shape future discussions around culture and talent in the industry.
Launched in London in 2015, Dive In expanded into a global initiative spanning more than 50 countries over its 11 previous editions.
This year’s festival is expected to run across more than 30 countries and in over 60 languages.
The 2026 programme will focus heavily on the relationship between AI, automation and human capability, with discussions centred on maintaining judgement, empathy, creativity and trust as technology reshapes workplaces across the sector.
The festival continues to be backed by major insurance market participants including AIG, Antares, Aon, Arch, Asta, Aviva, AXA XL, Clyde & Co, Fidelis Insurance Group, Gallagher, Liberty Mutual, Lloyd’s, Markel, Marsh, Moody’s, RenaissanceRe and WTW.
Additional supporter partners for 2026 include Axis, Alliant, Everest, KPMG, Lockton Re and RGA.
David Martin, global director of inclusion and diversity at Gallagher, said: “Dive In has played a vital role in bringing the industry together to share ideas, challenge perspectives and drive progress.
“As AI reshapes the workplace, building trust, belonging and shared purpose has never been more important in creating a more inclusive future,” he said.
Nick Line, chief underwriting officer at CFC and chair of Dive In for 2026, said: “Over the past 11 years, I’ve seen first-hand the role Dive In plays in opening up important conversations across our industry. At its heart, it’s about building an insurance market where anyone with the talent and ambition to succeed has a fair chance of doing so.
“As chair, I’m incredibly proud to lead the festival into its final year, which we are aiming to be its most impactful yet,” Line added.
The festival will also see the return of the Dive In reverse mentoring programme for a fifth cohort, pairing professionals from different career stages and backgrounds to exchange perspectives and challenge generational and cultural assumptions.
Registration for the 2026 event opens on 14 July, here.
