New appointment to lead on back office support
RFIB and Limehouse holdings appointed Steven Beard as chief financial officer today.
Beard will also become chief executive of a newly established services company, George Yard Services (GYS), which will provide back office support to RFIB and Limehouse.
Beard has extensive experience in service provision having held a number of positions at Xchanging, and most recently being group chief executive of Agilisys, a leading technology and professional service company.
RFIB chief executive Dennis Mahoney described the hiring of Beard as a “landmark appointment” and said: “He brings an exceptional track record to our CFO function and is the ideal candidate to launch and build our new central services business. Steven has pioneered the use of new technologies throughout his career and this approach will be central to GYS and across the RFIB and Limehouse businesses.”
He added: “GYS will be a key pillar in our business portfolio. It will enable our broking and underwriting teams to focus on what they do best and will ensure we continue to attract leading talent who share our independent, client focused approach.”
Beard will take up the position n 4 December.
